Today was quite fulfilling. I got woken by Pastor Henry's invitation to go for breakfast. We had porridge and raw fish at a coffee shop near Orchard Credit Link which is just opposite the Bukit Timah field. Great chat and all as usual. Wise stuff and i was just wanting to speak to Henry as well..Guess God really does work in wonderful ways..(: Went out with Marcus after that. We bought groceries at Cold Storage at Jelita to cook... Lasagne!(: Rented Silent Hill to watch as well. The show was a shocker. Not in the good sense that it was a horror horror show..but well..Gory though..Cooking was real fun though..But the final product wasn't exactly what we hoped for..Too much H2O..We'll do better next time though.;)

Have you ever wondered how things seem to go all wrong when you make yourself the focus of everything you do? When things don't seem to go your way? When people don't share your views? When things don't happen the way you planned it? Has our focus shifted? From our loving God and Father to us? When we do things according to God's plan..things would never go wrong would they? After all..God is perfect and He always knows what is best for us.. Yet so very often, we veer off the path He has for us for something more temporal, not lasting and more than often,will never leave you satisfied. Why? Rebellious? Hateful? Resentful? People just do like to be in control.. By leaving it to God, they have no idea where they are heading. No bearings. No back up plans. No safety rafts. Just based on the trust and faith that they have in Him. Which in today's world..is impractical..Analysts would tell you your rate of success would lie way below the 0% mark.. Yet it can't be any further from the truth..
