One of the biggest events in HwaChong is the mid-autumn festival or MAF for short.Well I've attended the ones for the past 2 years.To me,seriously,the event itself is nothing spectacular.Not much flair nor fun.The concert's boring,the eating competition is fairly humorous,but other than that,ZzZzZZ.However,this year i really did want to go.Haven't seen my classmates in AEONS!Which actually had me thinking.Maybe its the people and the company your in that actually makes things special.Occasions and parties might be fun but without the right people to share your joy with,its nothing short of pointless.Cuz at the end of the day,you really dun achieve anything...Yea...Unfortunately i couldn't go.(But my sis said it wasn't that fun either:D)
Which brings me to why i couldn't go.GPMG(general purpose machine gun??) live firing.My firing lasted barely 30 seconds.Makes me wonder why we wasted half a day for preparation...Haha...45 rounds gone in just 3 short bursts la...What made me really laugh was my superior comparing M16 to the GPMG.
1SG SOH:The firepower of the GPMG compared to the M16 is like comparing the impact the
Titanic made with the iceberg with you stamping on the floor.
Obviously exaggerated.Firing was a good and a once in a lifetime experience.So guess its something to remember.

For those having prelims tomorrow(David,Junxu,Claudia etc etc),continue to work hard and study hard!The end point is near;)Also dun compromise God's time ya...Crucial point to note:Prelims ain't the end...DO NOT slacken off after that or you'll regret it like i did...Ha.
