Day 2 of my supposed long off period.Well i guess i should be bummin around still..People free tmr,send me a msg!Haha!I'm really really bored stiff!
I come now to a long-standing issue on maids and their rights.To me,there are 2 points of contention.The first is the right to an off-day and second is the misconception that maids are like slaves and they do have to keep working without any rest.Even in the army,weekends off are an entitlement,not a privilege that you have to earn.Without any off days,life becomes a drag.There is nothing to look forward to.No hope.No excitement.What incentive do they have to be motivated for continue working hard?Afterall,the maids do slog their guts out for the entire week already.Whats that one off-day?It could mean the world to them.But of course,off-days are also a risk.For example,many maids find construction worker boyfriends and get themselves pregnant.Another proven fact is that they usually come back late,beyond the generous dateline given to them by the family.Many people mistakenly feel that maids are paid to work without stop.That if their not doing anything in the house,the maids are plain lazy.It may or may not be true.Fact is if the house is clean,they obviously do not have anything to do.It may also mean the former where their just slacking.Oh well, just my 3 cents on the issue.Ha.
Yesterday's dinner was good.Food wasn't superb,it was super oily but obviously,the company made a difference.Catching up was real cool,especially with old friends.Funkk!We need one of those real sooooon!You've no idea how much we're missin each other!Haha!
